The Care and Rescue Center of York County provides food to approximately 20 families located primarily in the Rock Hill Homes neighborhood.

A box of groceries is delivered Saturday mornings by volunteers who spend a few minutes visiting and praying with each family.
How can you help?
  1. Be a Delivery Team Volunteer: Commit one hour, one Saturday per month for one year! Teams deliver a box of prepacked grocery items to 2 to 3 families. Substitute deliverers are available, if you need to miss a week.
  2. Donate canned food items and other non perishable food to our drop off bins located in the Sanctuary and Hall lobbies at WPC. See current list of needs at the bottom of this page.
  3. Pray for the health and wholeness of the families who need the assistance of the Care and Rescue Center.

We are also seeking organizations to partner with our Food Pantry, that have annual, non perishable food drives and are looking for a great ministry to support! Our Food Bank depends heavily on donated, non perishable items. If you are interested in partnering with us, we’d love to talk! Please see contact details below.
